Travis Ausland
Owner
Travis is a licensed Residential Building Contractor and IICRC certified Water Restoration Technician who joined Rainbow Restoration in 2023. Travis has served for 16 years in the Air Force and Air National Guard and continues to serve in the Air Force Reserves. During his military career, Travis developed the leadership skills and passion for team-building that led him to Rainbow Restoration. Travis is grateful for the team and organization Joe Schwebach and Joel Christensen started in 2009 and looks forward to building on their foundation as the premier restoration company in the Sioux Empire. -

General Manager
Wade Hutchinson Started with Rainbow Restoration in 2015 as a Repair Division Manager. He has since been certified in multiple areas like Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Water Restoration Technician (WTR), Health and Safety Technician (HST) and Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT). With this extensive training he transitioned into the Mitigation Division Manager over seeing the cleaning and mitigation of water, fire, mold and smoke damages. -
Julie R.
Business Development Manager
Julie Redlin joined our team as office manager in 2011. She learned about the restoration process while asking a million questions and going to jobsites to experience the work we do, and has earned her Odor Control Technician (OCT) certification. Julie transitioned into the Business Development Associate position in 2017 working with realtors, property managers, plumbers, insurance professionals, and commercial accounts. Julie has served as a board member for South Dakota Multi Housing Association (SDMHA) until December of 2022, as well as is currently serving as a board member for the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire (HBASE). She is active with the RASE, HBASE, SME and SDMHA as a committee member focusing on many areas that help these associations. Her focus is to learn the needs of her customers and figure out how we can best serve and protect their clients, investments and liability. She is willing and able to ensure our customers receive the best possible personal service we can offer. Julie is also a committee member and advocate for the Helpline and the Step Forward to Prevent Suicide Walk/Run that is held annually. -
Misti H.
Repair Division Manager
Misti Harris started with Rainbow in 2017 as an administrative assistant to help navigate insurance program work, write estimates and aide in auditing paperwork to our highest standards. She has since been promoted to Fire Restoration Manager, and most recently is taking over the Repair Division Manager position. She is dedicated to communication, documentation and the integrity it takes to complete a repair project in the time we say it will and with the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction. She is a certified in water restoration, fire restoration, odor control and also content processing. Putting her on track for Master Fire Restorer! She brings with her a level of professionalism and compassion that is evident in all she does. Outside of work Misti keeps herself busy attending band competitions and spending all of the time with her daughters that she can. -
Megan D.
Mitigation Manager
Megan joined the team at Rainbow Restoration in 2019 as a Fire Restoration Technician but quickly realized her true interest was with the Water Mitigation team and she began her training journey. After 5 years of field experience, certifications in Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Megan was promoted to Mitigation Manager to lead the mitigation and cleaning team. Megan proves time and time again that her compassion and diligence to the customers and the unique issues they go through make her a wonderful example for our team. In her off hours she is a dedicated mom who attends every event for her kids and has her heart in volunteering for her church and B-Squad a local dog rescue
