Professional Water Damage Restoration in Howell, MI

REVIEW OVERALL: My family is sold on Rainbow International Restoration of Brighton. While we hope we never "need" them in the future, their company has won our business for life. __________ Situation: Water entered through blown-off shingles on our roof, along a bedroom damaging wall and floor, through our kitchen ceiling chandelier, and ultimately to the basement floor apparently through our HVAC vent/s. Rainbow Restoration was recommended to us by the roofing company who put a tarp on our roof to mitigate additional water entering our home. We contacted the company and they offered to come out immediately to mitigate water damage (including mold growth). The following was our exceptional experience: (day 1/3) Walter K. came to our home to perform moisture mapping and to set up dehumidifiers in all affected areas. PROS: • Walter is extremely professional – communication was excellent. We were well informed of what work needed to be performed and why. • Walter acknowledged how stressed my wife and I were handling this issue, while we tended to our four kids including a newborn and 3yo whom has been sick for several days. In response, Walter was extremely patient and generous with his time–offering insights into what we should expect next steps to look like with our insurance company in addition to detailing Rainbow Restoration's next steps–putting us at ease. No CONS. (day 2/3) Walter K. came to document readings from his equipment. Walter generously worked around our schedule to accomplish this. (day 3/3) Walter K. returned to perform necessary "demo" work, i.e removing saturated materials, and set up drying equipment. PROS: • He once again worked around our schedules (including appointments for myself and my 3yo). • Again, Walter explained the rationale for all the work he'd be doing. He kept us informed throughout any time he observed something worth mentioning. • Walter's workmanship was exceptional, impacting only the materials (walls, floor, etc.) absolutely necessary and in a clean and organized fashion. • Walter was open to my hypotheses regarding what additional areas water "could" have impacted. He acknowledged my concerns, investigated them thoroughly, and took all necessary actions to mitigate any potential water damage in our home. Walter will return tomorrow to assess water removal efficacy and collect equipment. Once again, he agreed to work around my wife's and my schedule. Thank you, Walter, for your exceptional workmanship and support throughout this immensely stressful time for my family!

These guys were here when we needed them! The summer humidity was killing our floor and store merchandise, Mike sent his guys with drying/dehumidification equipment to help! I was so impressed with Walter – he was polite, prompt and very conscious of his surroundings (customers and book displays) while setting up and taking down the equipment. If you own a small business, I recommend storing their phone number for emergencies.
